We invite you to join us for a tour of Parliament's 30 billion dollar reconstruction of Centre Block while it is closed to the public until beyond 2035. This is the largest, most complex project to rehabilitate a heritage building ever in Canada. Rebuilding a historical treasure like Parliament Hill into a modern facility encompasses many engineering, architectural and building challenges. This tour will enable you to hear directly from the tradespeople working on the project, who will explain the immense scope (and cost) of preserving our Nation's premiere heritage building.     Learn what 5-axis machining is and how Autodesk Fusion and Manufacturing Extension can support your next unique classroom student project. 5-axis machining is, without doubt, one of the more challenging forms of machining. Utilizing simultaneous 5-axis machining software can be extremely complex and expensive, but it doesn't always have to be. Autodesk Fusion is a comprehensive, integrated CAD/CAM tool that offers full 5-axis capabilities alongside 2-axis and 3-axis milling operations. The Fusion Manufacturing Extension unlocks even more Fusion CAM functionality for those looking for more advanced features. In this brief overview session, we'll delve into what 5 axis machining is and how Autodesk Fusion supports the process using desktop Penta 5-axis CNC machines in your classroom.

Media Release

The OCTE conference is taking place in a public facility at which photos are allowed to be taken.   This event is too large for us to be able to ensure that attendees are not included in photos.   By selecting yes, I acknowledge that I am will be in a public place and that my photo may be taken and used for marketing purposes.  I have read and accept the OCTE Media Release Policies as outlined in this document and give OCTE permission to take and use pictures and media of myself.

OCTE Event Cancellation Policy

By selecting yes below, I acknowledge that I have read and accept the terms of the OCTE Event Cancellation Policy.

A full refund will be granted to registrants that have notified OCTE that they are unable to attend 2 weeks prior to the start of a conference.  If a registration is canceled within two weeks of the event, no refund will be issued as OCTE will already have incurred these costs.  At any time up to the first day of the conference, a registrant can be replaced with another participant, including their workshop selections, at no additional cost.   If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honoured for the next event date.   If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you may transfer your purchase to another person or request a refund.   If the event is canceled, all purchases will be refunded in full.
